The study revealed that, Golden Tulip Kumasi City Hotel uses monetary rewards like base pay, merit pay, incentives, commission, bonus and healthy allowances to motivate workers. Moreover, the Hotel uses non-monetary rewards like recognition, decision making roles, promotion, flexible working hours and company uniforms to motivate them. The study also revealed that, employees are happy with their job design in terms of the tasks that they perform and the Hotel involved them in the job design, thus motivating them to perform better.
