How and when does digital innovation capabilities affect firm performance.
Boafowa, J.A.
In the fast-paced, constantly-changing modern world, gaining and maintaining logistics
excellence demands more effort. The main objective of the study is to examine when
and how digital innovation capabilities influence firm performance. The quantitative
research approach was adopted. Also, explanatory and descriptive research design was
employed. Cross-sectional survey strategy was utilized with questionnaire serving as
the instrument of data collection. The study adopted convenience sampling and
purposive sampling techniques in sampling firms and respondents respectively. The
quantitative data collected was analyzed descriptively and inferentially using statistical
package for social sciences (SPSS latest version). The findings of the study indicated
that digital innovation capabilities are very essential in firm performance. Also, the
findings of the study indicated supply chain visibility mediates the relationship between
digital innovation capabilities and firm performance. The findings of the study
indicated that supply chain responsiveness does not moderate the relationship between
digital innovation capabilities and firm performance. The study recommends that firms
firm develop dynamic capabilities such as supply chain responsiveness to maximize the
benefits of digital innovation capabilities in influencing firm performance.

Alhassan, S.
In the fast-paced, constantly-changing modern world, gaining and maintaining logistics
excellence demands more effort. The main objective of the study is to investigate the
moderating role of IT capabilities on digital innovation on operational resilience. Data
was collected and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS),
version number 29.0.2 of 2024. The study sampled 100 respondents to represent the
population using the convenience sampling technique. The findings of the study
indicate that digital innovation is very essential to operational resilience. Also, the
findings of the study show that IT capabilities have a positive and significant
relationship with digital innovation and operational resilience. In addition, the findings
of the study revealed that IT capabilities moderate the relationship between digital
innovation and operational resilience. The study recommends that firms formulate
policies that lays emphasis on strengthening digital innovation and IT capabilities, in
order to impact more positively on operational resilience

The effects of supply chain disruption on operational performance of the Ghana Armed Forces the moderating role of information technology.
Sosuh-Kumassah, M.
In the fast-paced, constantly-changing modern world, gaining and maintaining logistics
excellence demands more effort. The main objective of the study is to examine the
moderating role of information technology in the relationship between supply chain
disruption and operational performance. The quantitative data collected was analyzed
using Structural Equation Modelling using SmartPLS. The findings of the study
indicated that supply chain disruption negatively influences operational performance.
Also, the findings of the study indicated information technology positively influences
operational performance. In addition, the findings indicate that information technology
moderates the relationship between supply chain disruption and operational
performance. The study recommends that firms formulate policies that stress on a
strengthening information technology since it has been found to have no impact on
operational performance.

Assessing the awareness and knowledge level of value added tax among retailers in Cape Coast implications for tax compliance.

Assessing the awareness and knowledge level of value added tax among retailers in Cape Coast implications for tax compliance.
Awortwe, S.
This Study explores the extent of awareness and understanding among retailers in the Cape
Coast Metropolis regarding Value Added Tax (VAT) and its Effect on tax compliance.
Utilizing a sample size of 150 respondents and employing a descriptive research design,
the study aims to evaluate retailers' awareness and comprehension of VAT, identify factors
that influence this awareness, and examine how it affects tax compliance behaviors. The
Finding reveals that retailers' awareness and knowledge levels of VAT are influenced by
various factors. While formal education is a significant factor, other contributors include
the accuracy of VAT information provided by the government, personal interactions with
tax authorities, and communication within the market. These findings challenge the notion
that awareness and knowledge of VAT are solely dependent on formal education,
emphasizing the complex interplay of different factors in shaping retailers' understanding
of VAT, which subsequently impacts their tax compliance practices. The moderate level
of awareness observed among retailers highlights the need for targeted educational
initiatives aimed at improving comprehension and compliance behaviors. Based on the key
findings of the study regarding VAT awareness and its implications on tax compliance
among retailers in the Cape Coast Metropolis, it was ascertained that Integrating VAT
concepts into the formal education curriculum can lead to a long-term positive impact on
tax compliance. By introducing students to VAT principles early on, they will develop an
understanding of their tax obligations from the beginning of their business ventures. This
foundational knowledge will shape their compliance behaviors as they transition into
entrepreneurs.
